2004 Infiniti G35 Third Brake Light Not Working

Hi i have an issue with my 2004 infiniti g35 6mt.

Apparently this is a very common issue with the 2003 2004 g35 and is caused by a faulty chip. An aftermarket company is repairing the brake light boards as infiniti is charging over 400 for the repair and denies it is a problem. If your g35 does not have the sub woofer speaker in the middle behind the brake light you are in luck. If you g35 has the sub woofer speaker then you are not in luck.

Recently purchased used and then the light went out. 2004 infiniti g35 125 000 mi visitor. I have a feeling it may be an intermittent problem. The airbag light blinks all the time and now my 3rd brake light not working.
